The Ring Nebula was a great inspiration for Beth. After she viewed it through a telescope, this intensified her interest in Astronomy. Therefore, it is only befitting that it becomes the logo for the Dr. Beth A. Brown Science Foundation.

"My Head is crowned with Blazing Stars; whirling galaxies play at my feet." -  Quote from dissertation
